Day 6 - A short trip to Winton - 400Km round trip

After the long drive from Takarakka to Longreach, we thought a short run up to Winton would be a good idea. Primarily to see the Waltzing Matilda Centre, there were other things on the list.

We spent over 4hrs at the Centre, and then moved on to a quiet pub lunch.....let's face it, everything in Winton is quiet!

Following lunch, the other attractions were in order. Arno's Wall - a guy with a passion to insert 'junk' concreted into his property boundary fence!

Onto the Musical Fence - a range of various musical instruments, and I use the term loosely!

.......and a quick visit to the restored Court House, a fully operational court.

Finally, on the way back, we called into the Dinosaur Museum - couldn't go in as they were booked out and close to closing time, but had time to take some happy snaps.......

.......and a couple of outback residents on the way back as well.
